Is buying a property in Queensland with a pool worth the money? Does a property with a pool add perceived value?

The answer to this question really depends on personal preference and an individual's needs. In general, having a pool can add perceived value to a property, both in terms of the actual sale price and the amount of interest a property may attract. However, it may also lead to additional costs for maintenance and upkeep. I have lived in the beachside suburb of Buddina on the Sunshine Coast for 21 years and I only had an inground pool built in 2021 as I have two small kids and as great as the beach is, its not always doable, especially on a really hot summers day. So, I personally have no regrets about installing a pool and I would definitely buy a property with a pool in the future.
